AWESOME HEALING GUIDE!

Ok, it may seem like just a cheap little book, but NO! This little pocket miracle-maker is just what the doctor ordered--Dr. Jesus, that is! the truths revealed in this little book are all power-packed nuggets from the Holy Bible (God's Word) that--when taken several times a day like a prescription--will lead to complete healing from anything. Believing the truths in this little book and putting them into practice in life brought me to healing from an ankle that had been so badly injured that the doctors told me I'd need laser surgery and would probably not ever walk right even after surgery (they had me in an orthopedic boot, and I had to walk with a walker). I never had the surgery, but I now can walk, run, dance, leap--all without pain or injury. I know 3 people personally who were healed of full-blown AIDS. I know of at least 4 people who were healed of different forms of cancer. I lost count of how many people I know who have been healed of all sorts of other ailments (blindness, deafness, paralysis, allergies, and more)... How? By using the truths found in this little book. Buying this book is a small investment for a lifetime of reaping the benefits. You are worth it!

This book was instrumental in my life & my parents' life as God completely healed me from an irregular brain pattern & fever-induced epileptic seizures at the age of 6. I used to say 5 scriptures from this book each night with my parents & thank God for healing me & making me whole. (Isaiah 53:5, Ps 107:20, Prov 4:20-22, Matt 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24)

Fantastic short story!

I love this short story! The characters are all interesting and the writer does a good job setting up a creepy atmosphere. It was creative and I did not expect it to take me to the places it did. Took me through a wide range of emotions and I would recommend it to people who are fond of atmospheric stories that make you think or give you a different perspective.

Don't let the low sugar fool you....high in carbs.

Don't let JJ fool you....these really are not low sugar and most definitely NOT low carb, or really low calorie. As a Type 1 diabetic I thought these smoothie recipes would be great (as per the low-sugar hype, after adding up all the carbs, I think she missed the boat. Carbs = sugars), they are delicious recipes however. I will continue to use many of these recipes, just not the ones with all the fruit. Pump up the insulin....

Can't imagine starting the day without my smoothies!

I have been using JJ's shakes since January when I started The Sugar Impact Challenge. I can't imagine starting my morning without one. Being celiac, breakfast is always my most difficult meal (think NO cereal, toast, waffles, etc). I alternate the flavors of protein powder as well as the additions to it every morning and do not get bored. I have even started putting spinach or kale along with an apple, orange, or berries in them and having a real treat. It satisfies my craving for something sweet and yet I am still getting my protein and veggies in. Nice to have so many recipes in a convenient format.

About the Author
Leonard J. Brooks is Professor of Business Ethics & Accounting at the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto. He is Executive Director of the Clarkson Centre for Business Ethics & Board Effectiveness, Director of the Professional Accounting Centre, the Master of Management & Professional Accounting Program, and the Master of Forensic Accounting Program (formerly the Diploma in Investigative & Forensic Accounting Program). Professor Brooks served 14 years on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Ethics and as Founding Editor of Corporate Ethics Monitor, a pioneering bimonthly publication. He has published articles on ethics issues in the Journal of Business Ethics, Accounting Organizations and Society, Canadian Accounting Perspectives, and Business & Society. He authored BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL ETHICS FOR ACCOUNTANTS, 2E; ETHICS & GOVERNANCE: DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING AN ETHICAL CORPORATE CULTURE, 4E; and PRINCIPLES OF STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: THE CLARKSON PRINCIPLES. Professor Brooks also authored/edited the research monograph CANADIAN CORPORATE SOCIAL PERFORMANCE. Prior to joining the University of Toronto, he obtained his CA designation (in 1970) and subsequently became an audit manager and Director of Manpower for Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte) in Toronto. Professor Brooks served as a member, then chair, of the Chartered Accountants' national Board of Examiners and chair of its national Syllabus Committee. He was named a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) of Ontario in 1982. These professional designations were converted to CPA and FCPA in 2012. He consults with individuals, corporations, governmental and non-governmental organizations and serves as an expert witness and frequent media-commentator. Professor Brooks is also a former director of the Canadian Centre for Ethics & Corporate Policy and a former president of the Canadian Academic Accounting Association.

Paul Dunn is an Associate Professor of Business Ethics and the Chair of the Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship and Ethics department at the Goodman School of Business, Brock University. Dr. Dunn holds two degrees in philosophy: a bachelor's and a master's, both from the University of Toronto. He also holds a doctorate in accounting from Boston University. He is also a CPA and was a practicing chartered accountant in downtown Toronto for a dozen years. Dr. Dunn's research focuses on corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. His work has been published in a variety of scholarly journals, including Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management, Business & Society, Journal of Management and Governance and Business Ethics Quarterly. He sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Business Ethics and Business & Society and is an active review more than a half-dozen other scholarly journals. I really enjoyed this book!

I've been following Aaron Fisher's articles for The Art of Tea magazine and the online tea journal "The Leaf" for a couple of years now, so I was really looking foward to reading a full-length work devoted to the Way of Tea. Surely you will find or may have read books on Chado, or Chanoyu, the Way of Tea as expressed by the Japanese tea ceremony... This book is positively different and will be a pleasant counterpoint to others you may have read in that it centers on what the tea ceremony is really all about in a spiritual sense, as opposed to other books that aim to serve as as instructional guides on how-to-perform the Japanese tea ceremony. I'd say the author does an excellent job bringing readers to the root of what drinking tea is all about. The book begins with a history of the masters that paved the way of tea, before continuing in a personal style where the author narrates his own experiences with tea before inviting and encouraging the reader to experience the tea ceremony first hand... for real... deeply.... a tea ceremony that revolves around living in the present and being at one with the Tao, where tea and life become synonymous. This can easily seem a bit too much for some people... but others will certainly understand... or at least strive to.

An in-depth discourse on the many paths of tea

I most appreciated the interweaving of history and tea culture as seen through the stages of philosophical and spiritual thought. The intelligent and penetrating insights and interpretations offered by the author with regards to the major Taoist and Zen philosophies are engaging to the reader. Fisher ably uses key examples of "tea Zen" from the ages to show readers that mindfulness can be found not only in each cup of tea, but also in its ritual and accompaniments. A core theme of the book is that the essence of tea is found not in the debate or study of its characteristics or in the compulsion to find, grab and "own" tea wisdom & knowledge, but through a mindful approach to contemplating, enjoying, and sharing the beauty of each brew. Overall, the book is a gracious offering by the author to share the life-altering experiences that tea can have, which I think many introspective tea lovers will be able to relate to. I think this book will be well received by those looking for an experience of tea beyond the brew itself.

I have visited Janet Nohavec for a personal reading 4-5 times over the past 15 years. She is truly amazing and her "gift" is real. Events she foretold proved true and circumstances she described were precise and accurate. This book describes how one can tap into his/her own ability to reconnect with those who have passed over to the other side. There are exercises to practice and theory to utilize. Personally, I am going to try to hone my ability to reconnect with my loved ones. This book reaffirmed my belief that we do not die, we merely move to another vibrational level.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about evidential mediumship. It is clearly written, and done with responsibility, keeping the topic respected as a bridge between the deceased and their loved ones here on earth. Anyone who is sincerely interested in developing their own communication skills with the spirit world,would enjoy and benefit from this book.

I loved this book. Rev Nohavec explains in easy terms just what mediumship is and how to bring out the best in your abilities. It rings very true to mine. I was very happy to have been able to read this and will certainly pass this book on. I will be reading her other book soon. If you have any abilities or want to learn about mediumship, true evidential mediumship, read this book.

Great example of the process

Excellent read that discusses the process a leader goes through prior to committing blood and treasure to strategic aims.
IT is a deep read that looks into the thought process of a leader. Not a book for the historically shallow desiring blood guts of warfare. This read is truly a brain matter digest of the mental methods that Admiral Woodward went thru prior to operations in the Falklands!
Great read that gets deep into the complexity of problem solving.

A rare, no BS account of an extremely interesting and important military campaign.

I'm a retired air force officer and I've read a lot of these kind of books. This is the best military memoir I've ever read. What makes it exceptional is Admiral Woodward's readiness to admit his sometimes less than kind treatment of subordinates in the heat of battle. They became pawns on a chessboard to him and he readily admits it. His goal was to minimize his losses and if he had to place certain ships in extreme danger to achieve that goal, he did. Admiral Woodward states in the preface that after reading the book you may think less of him. I did not, but a friend I lent the book to did. Bottom line, its a rare, no BS account of an extremely interesting and important military campaign. Great book.

The Big Picture

This book only describes the sea/air battles leading up to the landing on the Falklands. I thought Woodward spent too much time justifying his every decision. It was interesting the first few time he did this but then it became a diversion and kept me from visualizing the big picture. Also maps would have been useful to keep track of where the ships and planes were located at the start of each engagement.
