The second part of the book explains country planning according to natural law in a way which is most practical and beneficial for its people as introduced by world-renowed sage Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Country planning in accordance with natural law outlines the concept of a global grid based on latitudes and longitudes which is the basis of Vastu planning at every scale; housing, village, town, province and whole country. The smallest scale of planning eventually comes down to a square the size of a house where the convergence of longitudes can be ignored. This significance of the square is explained in the first part of the book.

The mathematics are very complex, but beautifully explained with lots of diagrams. The second part of the book explains country planning according to Natural Law in a way that is most practical and beneficial for the population.

This unique book expresses powerful ideas with practical importance in everyday life and is printed on high quality paper, but suffers greatly from poor editing. The best parts of the book are the beginning and the end. It gets muddled in the middle with repetitious derivations of formulas and some poorly-labeled tables and figures. It should have provided a more thorough introduction to group theory and the many mathematical terms employed should have been better-defined and illustrated. If you are not comfortable with algebra, you will have trouble following much of what it presents, even if you can readily grasp the big picture ideas with which it begins and ends. Moreover the book is a tease insofar as it defers a more adequate explanation of the various Vastu measures for those who wish to take a Vedic architecture course in Holland. It discusses building orientation, width and length, but neglects the equally important factor of height. It could have been much better. I hope the author will get some help and offer us a revised edition.

Not to bad.

I have just read all three of these books and decided to rate them all at one time.

The first one was pretty good. Great H and h. Even though the hero ticked me off when he fell to defend Adele/Erin against his father. I forgave him but it took awhile. Other than that it was pretty good. I love Grant, the roommate.

The second book was HORRIBLE!!!! It was a hot mess!!! I hated it. Especially the heroine. They were hardly together and when they were they were fighting over misunderstandings that should have been talked about. Instead the h ignores the H. Won't take his calls. He ask the h if she will go to out of town with him at a later date. She thinks in her head, "No, I can't be away from my business", yet she stays mad at the h and repeatedly calls in sick or goes home early.
She doesn't trust the H so she goes talk to his father. Who was awful to her in book 1. I mean awful. Really?!?! Why would you believe anything this deceitful man said.
Book 2 was just so stupid!!! I still love Grant.

Book 3 was better. The author did a better job of not making me hate the book's H and h.
Only thing that I thought was ridiculous was that in book 1 and 2 the father was horrible. All the sudden in book 3 he's a changed man. So giving. In book 1 it talks about him being a terrible husband and father. Adultery, mean, work all the time. In book 3 he loved his wife more than life. He never kept secrets from her. Bla, bla, bla. Still loving Grant.

So I rate the three books that should have been one book like this.

Book 1-4 Stars
Book 2-1 Star
Book 3-3 Stars $2.99 for book 2 & 3 was way to much. This should have been one book.

In the second book of the Stolen series, Seth had to deal with Liz Taylor's plan to merge her company, Taylor Corp., with Morgan & Hunter, Inc., of which Adele and Seth were co-CEOs. In desperation, Adele turned to James Hunter, Seth's rude father, who turned her away.
In this, the third book, Adele has to cope with the perceived threat to her relationship with Seth and the real threat to their business, as well as the knowledge that Seth kept this information from her.
Can Adele and Seth work out their problems? What will happen when Taylor Corp. follows through with their threat of a takeover of Morgan & Hunter, Inc.? What will happen when Adele and Seth confront James Hunter together?
The twists and turns continue in this well-written book. But it has a HEA.

About the Author
Dr. U.K. Srivastava obtained his Ph.D. degree in Economics and did post doctoral work at lowa State University, USA. After working at Iowa State University for about 2 years, he joined Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), where he worked for about 20 years (1973-93). After leaving IIMA, Dr. Srivastava started his own consultancy firm in the name of P.S. Management Consultants at Ahmedabad. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He is also the Chairman of PS Software Services Pvt. Ltd. He is an Adjunct Professor at Taleem Research Foundation (of Zee Group) at Ahmedabad and a Visiting Professor at the IIPM Ahmedabad. He was the Vice President of Institute of Management Consultants of India. He became the founder Hony. Director of the National Institute of Cooperative Management, Gandhinagar (1996-2000). He worked with the World Bank Regional Office in New Delhi in UPDASP Project (1994-1996). He has published 28 books and written more than 50 articles in refereed professional journals. He is currently involved with a World Bank Consultancy Assignment as Team Leader, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&L), NAIP Project (2007-2011).

Dr. G.V. Shenoy was a Professor at the Institute of Rural Management, Anand. He holds a M.Sc. degree in Statistics, Ph.D. degree in OR and Diploma in Computer Programming, all from Bombay University. He is a member of Institute of Statisticians, Suffolk, U.K. He has published several research articles in professional journals and presented research papers at national and international seminars and conferences. Scientific, relatable, and practical

I’ve read a lot of books about healthy eating and mood disorder therapy, not to mention seeing professionals on the subjects, and I have to say End Emotional Eating is one of the best books I know. I find it scientific, relatable, and practical.

That said, it’s harder than it sounds to “sit with” emotions without letting it turn into feelings of deprivation. This is something I’m still practicing, so I’ve summarized the key points below to remind myself (and you, if you’re interested) most especially in those times of weakness what I can do to truly have a positive relationship with food and why it’s best for living a life I value.

Concept

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is based on accepting reality because suffering comes from trying to fight pain. Radical acceptance is an active process of “purposely adopting an open, nonjudgmental receptive stance” while at the same time deciding whether or not to change the way you respond, often choosing to accept commitments required to take action in order to live life fully.

It is illusory correlation to believe an increased urge to binge means an increased need for it. In fact, urges come and go, whereas “the more we indulge in a habit, the more habitual it becomes.” Giving into emotional eating takes away opportunities to develop other coping skills making you believe it is the only way to cope.

Thinking about food may be less painful than some emotions, but emotional eaters then develop pain and suffering around food. Emotional eaters tend to be more sensitive to rewards as demonstrated in caudate nucleus response research. In fact, motivation is fleeting and unnecessary. “Action leads to action.”

Recommendations

“Accept life as it is without indulging or controlling.” Pain can be “something you experience in the service of living according to your values.” Being mindful of this can foster self-compassion and empathy with others. Self-compassion involves kindness and warmth while maintaining realistically high standards.

Focus on changing behaviour rather than trying to control feelings. “You don’t have to feel willing to behave willingly.” Master mental aikido by weaving and surfing, not throwing punches. Be in the present, aware of the full experience, and problem solve. “Look at the thoughts rather than from the thoughts.”

To address judgment, create two pie charts. One represents relative importance of main areas of your life most important to you now. The second represents what you would like to matter in how you aspire to live your life. Consider the following common values and really “taste” them: family, partner, friends, work, education, fun, spirituality, community life, physical self-care, environment, and beauty. Notice how overvaluing eating and appearance can lead to undervaluing other areas of your life and more vulnerable dependent on one area more than a variety of factors.

Virtues describe “a set of moral standards that can guide us in how we implement our values,” giving our values-based actions detail. “When we focus on values, we let go of measurements and focus on living with virtue.” Living according to values during tough times requires devotion and skill. Practice skills in advance by imagining yourself executing the behaviour in certain situations, reflecting on thoughts and feelings. Make detailed plans.

I have read many books on binge eating but none have given me hope as much as Dr Taitz' End Emotional Eating.
It is very intelligent book yet easy to read and understand. I especially liked the idea of sitting with your urge and "surfing" through it. She emphasizes that feelings and urges come and go and we can learn to ride the waves of the urges till they past.
The main message is accepting your feelings and your-self; also being as compassionate with yourself as you'd be with others. We binge eaters are very hard on ourselves and in this book you will learn to be patient and understanding with yourself, We don't have to eat our feelings away there is a way out and this book will help show you the way. I am a 62 year old male and I have binged all my life but now I feel great hope that help has finally arrived.
I also like when Dr Taitz asked if you made a life pie-chart how much of it would be taken up by your concern and worry over eating and its pain I was stunned to realize it would take up at least 90% of mine.

the REAL key to weight loss

This is NOT another diet book. This is the secret to maintaining weight without dieting and keeping the weight off. Why didn't somebody come up with this sooner! The root of the diet issue is managing emotions and this teaches you to do just that. As a physician, I'm delighted to see this available.

Book For Z/28 lovers

"Untold Secrets" is a misleading title... This book is all and *only* about Chevrolet's efforts in the old Trans-America road race series. As you may know, the desire to be competitive in Trans-Am led to Chevrolet developing the Z/28 option package in the first place. Hood induction, twin carburetion on the 302, chassis set up, and the famous JL-1 (SP?) four-wheel disk brakes are all covered in great detail. If your interest lies in the first generation Camaro OVERALL, then I'd skip this one. 1st gen Z car enthusiasts, however, will love this book.
